Hi Lovelies! Wow its feels like since stoneage since I have written something on this blog. But well I am back on writing & today I am bringing you a foundation review.

So as you guys must be knowing that Nykaa has come up with it's own in house brand of makeup. They started off with nail polishes, eye kohls, lipsticks & now they have introduced their foundations as well.

I am reviewing the Nykaa SKINgenius Sculpting & Hydrating foundation in the shade '02 Almond Beige'.

Packaging :

The foundation comes with a coral outer cardboard box. The box has pretty much all the information that your will need to know about this foundation. 

The foundation bottle is a sleek plastic bottle with a matte black cap which opens on twisting. The foundation dispenses from a nozzle.

The Shade & Consistency :

I got this foundation in the shade 02 ALMOND BEIGE. This foundation is available in 5 other shades also. 

The consistency of this foundation is quite runny & liquidy as compared to other liquid foundations. That makes it easy to blend & build on the face. I have tried adding upto 6 pumps or squeezes of this foundation on my face & yet it didn't look layered or cakey!

Coverage :

This foundation has pretty low to medium coverage on application. It will reach medium coverage upon building it up. It starts off with pretty darn low coverage honestly. I applied this foundation with the PAC beauty blended & in the first application, I felt like there wasn't anything on my face. Lol!! The blender almost drank up the foundation. I could get a good application after using Sigma F80 kabuki brush. The blender certainly takes a bit of more product than brush.

But when I layered this for about 3-4 times, I could get a good medium coverage. If you like only full coverage foundations, this one is definitely not for you.

Staying Power :

This foundation I have worn for 6-7 hours in the day & it easily stays on my face without any touch ups. My t-zone becomes oily at the end of the day eventually.

Finish :

This foundation has a dewy finish. It lends a glow to the face when applied. It definitely does set matte, so if you have an oily face or even a combination skin type you have to set this foundation with a face powder for sure.

My Thoughts :

Well to be honest, I am in love truly, madly deeply with this foundation & I haven't been able to stop using it since I got my hands on it. Even though I have a combination skin & my T-zone does become oily after a couple of hours, I really do not mind using this foundation. After all I can set my T-zone iant it?! Lol! Jokes apart, I love the soft dewy finish of this foundation, the way it sits on my skin making it look so natural as can be. It does not crack even after wearing it for a good 7 hours.

• Available only in 6 shades, wish they'd bring more being Indian brand!
• Coverage is low & medium that is achieved after building up
