Chambor Rouge Plump ++ Lipstick 751 Review

Hi Lovelies! A blog post after a hell of a long time isn't it? Wow! I have been into so many things lately that I haven't had the time to give here at all. I missed not being able to pen down my thoughts and opinions on different products that I have been using over the past few months. I hope you all had a good festival time with your loved ones. Anyhoo, It's always a good thing to take a break isn't it?

Anyway, today I am going to review one of my favorite makeup product for you all - Lipstick! I recently visited the Chambor counter at Shoppers Stop & was quite interested in the New launch in the name of Chambor Rouge Plump++ Lipsticks. I honestly was not plannin on buying these at all especially after hearing the price! But I landed up with 3 of these just because I couldn't resist the texture and the lovely shades. So I picked up shade numbers 751, 752 & 753 and today I am reviewing the Chambor Rouge Plump++ lipstick in the shade # 751.

Product Description :

Plump up lips, reduce fine lines! The all New Rouge Plump++ is infused with a "BROSH Bio Lip Complex". Packaging :

The lipstick comes in an outer holographic box which has all the required information about the lipstick from what it is to price, expiry and ingredients.

The lipstick is packaged in a sleek silver tube with a crocodile print on it (?) which feels light weight when held. I am not sure what material the packaging is made of but it feels like plastic, and that too not a very good quality. This may be the very 1st Chambor lipstick packaging that I am not a fan of just because it feels very cheap to hold. Although I like the fact that it is sleek and very almost weightless to hold in hand, I did not like the plastic-y packaging at all! That being said, it can be easily be slipped into your purse! lol!

The bullet is also very slim obviously and that makes the application of the lipstick very easy and effortless. It's like you just draw the lipstick on your lips. It fits perfectly onto your lips. I am huge fan of such lipstick bullets honestly & wish all lipsticks would be like that.. #someday!

Texture & Pigmentation :

These lipsticks are extremely creamy to apply, they glide on like butter. In fact they are so creamy that I almost feel like a lot of product is being used for a single application. They give a lustrous, almost glossy look to the lips which of course in turn makes the lips look plumper.

Pigmentation is also very good of these lipsticks. I have 3 neutral shades from this range but even then the pigmentation is awesome. They cover my lips fully in one application itself. If you have very pigmented lips, then 2 coats is enough.

The Shade :

This beautiful shade is numbered 751 and it is a gorgeous mauvey nude colour that will flatter all skin tones. Perfect office/ college and everyday wear shade.

Staying Power :

Since these lipsticks are very creamy in texture, the staying capacity is normal. I have had these on my lips for a good 4-5 hours. The upper glossy-like layer wears off after an hour or so but the lips still are extremely hydrated and moisturised.

I really wouldn't expect them to have a staying power of more than 5 or max 6 hours to be honest. Now keep in mind that I the shade I am reviewing here is a neutral color. So the darker colours may have staying power of few more hours also.


Pros of Chambor Rouge Plump++ Lipstick :

• Very smooth to apply and very moisturising to the lips.
• Slim lipstick bullet
• Gorgeous texture and good pigmentation
• Decent staying capacity
• Sweet fragrance (this might bother a few though)
• Hydrates the lips and makes them look plump
• Good shade range

Cons of Chambor Rouge Plump++ Lipstick :

• The sleek packaging which is a pro is also a con because it feels a little too cheap
• Priced at almost 1000 bucks!
