Hello Girls & Happy Monsoons! Its finally the weather I have been dying to see for so many months & I am super super happy! So I thought that since I am this happy why not review a product that makes me happy these days whenever I have it on.
I am talking about Chambor Xtreme Transfer Proof Liquid Lipstick in shade 431. My current red lipstick obsession & can I say that I am totally addicted to this shade.
So let's see how it is!
About Chambor Xtreme Transfer proof liquid lipstick :
A long lasting transfer proof liquid lipstick with a smooth sensorial feel & creamy matte finish. Its extreme matte finish provides deep intense color in one stroke.
Price :
Rs. 845/- for 6ml
Packaging :
These lipsticks have an outer carton packaging with a navy blue color. However I could not find a shade number written on the outer carton which is disappointing.
The packaging of the lipsticks are in a sleek & elegant tubes with a glossy cap. The shade number is written at the bottom. I wish they had shade names instead of numbers as there are many shades & remembering the numbers can & does get confusing.
On the tube there is a multi color writing which is very elegant & sophisticated. Because the packaging is sleek, these liquid lipsticks are very convenient to be carried around. The cap shuts tightly & hence there shouldn't be any problem of lipstick coming out.
Color & Pigmentation :
431 is a bright, bold & intense red with stark pink tones to it. Since it is a bright shade, it is definitely not for the people who want their lipsticks subtle & natural looking. I wear this shade even during day time with a minimal eye makeup (no liner looks) & it amps up my makeup & mood instantly.
However you can always tone it down & use it as a stain which would be great for adding that sparkle to your face without going over board with it.
The shade is very pigmented & therefore you get full coverage in one swatch of the lipstick. This works as an added advantage with people who have pigmented lips. I would recommend to apply 2 coats to get the intensity & true color of the shade.
The applicator is shaped in a way that it covers the lips without making the lipstick going out.
Texture :
The lipstick is matte no doubt but it applies very creamy & almost velvet like. It takes a minute approx. to set into 100% matte finish. However the velvet finish somehow makes it comfortable to wear. Believe me I have extremely dry lips & therefore for me any matte lipstick feels uncomfortable.
However not Chambor ones.! Which is amazing for me because I can finally wear liquid lipsticks without any fear of my lips being tortured.
Staying Power :
Liquid lipsticks have the most staying power & Chambor liquid lipsticks are in no way different. This shade 431 lasts on my lips for a good 8-9 hours which includes meals. It does fade a tad bit but that is barely visible. It does not smudge or slip outside of lips.
