I hope you are all having an amazing week so far. It has finally rained & I feel so relieved from the torturous heat that I can't even explain! :)

So this post is about a highlighter review! Highlighters have lately become extremely popular in the Indian makeup world thanks to the influence of the western makeup industry! :)

I believe a highlighter can do what any other makeup product cannot do.. Bring the glow to your face & instantly lift your mood! I am big time highlighter fan & I cannot be content with a few I guess! So I keep looking out for amazing highlighters & when I find them, I am on cloud 9!! So this post review is going to be about one such highlighter from my collection.

I am reviewing the Goddess Of Love Triple Baked Highlighter 'Golden Goddess' by I ♡ Makeup.

Packaging :

The highlighter is housed in a heart shaped cardboard box which has a combination of white & gold! An absolutely cute packaging that makes way into a girl's heart without any trouble!

Even though the box is made out of cardboard, it is not flimsy or thin which can break easily. The size of the box is about medium

Texture & Pigmentation :

The highlighter as the name suggests is a triple baked highlighter which makes it skin friendly. The highlighter is in a 3D heart shape which is simply speaking adorable! I apply this highlighter with a brush always & a barely tap into the box picks up enough product to apply on one cheek. Therefore this has to be used carefully else you can easily over do it.

Color :

Golden Goddess is a beautiful gold color which has a pearly finish to it. At first I thought it may not suit my Indian skin, but this highlighter is simply THE BOMB!

The 3 dimensional effect that this highlighter has makes it unique & trust me I have received compliments every time I flaunted the highlighter.

Staying Power :

The highlighter has lasted on my combination skin very easily for about 6-7 hours. Keep in mind though that I did prime my face & after makeup set it with makeup setting spray as well. If you do not use any of this, then the highlighter should survive on your cheeks for 4-5 hours minimum.

It does fade a bit towards the end of the day, but then I find that absolutely normal with any makeup product. I am in fact impressed with the fact that it stays on my skin for that long. It blends beautifully without leaving any streaks or lines which could make it look fake.
