L'Oreal Paris Infallible Mega Gloss 107 Who's The Boss Review!

Hello My Girls!

Today I am reviewing the newly launched L'Oreal Paris Infallible Mega Gloss in the shade 110 'I Got The Power' for you. These glosses were launched in the Cannes 2016 & many sported a variety of shades from the infallible range!

Now personally I am not a huge fan of glosses & frankly do not own many of them as well. But since I got the Maybelline Lip Polishes, I started developing the taste for highly pigmented glosses. I have 2 shades from this infallible gloss range; 110 I Got The Power (Reviewed Here) & 107 Who's The Boss.

Today I am reviewing the shade 107 Who's The Boss (this is also in Cream finish). Let's see how it is!

My Experience with L'Oreal Paris Cream Mega Gloss 110 I Got The Power :

Packaging :

The lip gloss is packed in a very sophisticated & sleek tube which is transparent thus enabling you to see the exact color of the gloss. The cap if black & glossy which opens and closes with a twist. The cap shuts tightly with the "click" sound so you can be assured that the cap won't open in your purse
making the gloss go all over the place. It is also sleek & that makes it easy to slip into our handbags.

The applicator sponge tip is perfect for applying the gloss all over the lips. It fits into the shape of the lips beautifully & there are absolutely no hassles in applying the gloss. The maneuverability of the applicator is amazing & you can reach the extreme corners of the lips without the gloss going outside.

Texture :

The gloss is very light in texture & extremely creamy. It applies very smoothly & evenly all over the lips. The gloss sits on the lips very beautifully & does not give you that "I have a gloss all over my lips" feeling which normally a gloss does! This is the best part about these babies!. The lip gloss provides heavy moisture to the lips so you need not apply a lip balm before.

This gloss also has a fruity taste to it which is quite over whelming to me & I kind of not like it. But if you are not bothered by any taste, then you should be good!

Color & Pigmentation :

107 Who's The Boss is a deep berry plummy color. Perfect for autumn/fall/winter! This shade is perfect for those glossy nights events if you like your lips vampy, dark & glossy (obviously!)

The gloss is quite well pigmented & gives an almost opaque coverage in the first application. But to get the real intensity & the actual color of the gloss as is in the tube, a second application is required.

Lasting Power :

If applied on it's own, the gloss lasts on my lips for about 3-4 hours without meals. If you have light meals, then yes the glossiness will slightly fade away. But because the color is so deep, the pigment more or less stays on the lips.

Overall Thoughts :

As I mentioned I am not a fan of lip glosses, so I am not thrilled about these glosses but yes I don't mind owning 1 or 2 in my collection for those juicy & fuller lip days! If you are lip gloss fan, they you need to grab these for sure!

Pros Of L'Oreal Mega Cream Infallible Lip Gloss :
  • Light Texture, light wearing
  • Heavy Moisturizing on the lips
  • Sleek tube & travel friendly packaging
  • Easy application sponge applicator tip
  • Ample Pigmentation

Cons Of L'Oreal Mega Cream Infallible Lip Gloss :
  • Price
  • Has a strong fruity taste (For those who do not like taste/fragrances in makeup)
  • Transfers onto surfaces

Have you tried the L'Oreal Mega infallible gloss yet? Let me know what you feel!

Until my next post, Stay Blessed!
