Today's post is a review of Studiowest Pure Passion Flawless Finish Makeup by Westside. As you may or may not be knowing, Westside has launched their own in-house brand called Studio West. I went to my nearest Westside store quite some time back & saw that they introduced the Studiowest counter which was not there earlier! #celebrations
I went through some of their products which included lipsticks, nail polishes, foundations, compact powders, lip glosses etc. I grabbed their foundation which looked quite interesting to me & I always need a new foundation to try on! It is called Studiowest Pure Passion Flawless Finish Makeup. I got the shade '02 HONEY'.

The foundation comes in 2 variants : With SPF & Without SPF.
I got the shade 02 Honey.
Packaging :
The foundation comes in a tube form with a pump attached to it for the disposal of the foundation. The tube packaging makes the foundation a travel friendly one because it is light weight & sleek at the same time.
The tube has multicolored criss cross lines all over it which when viewed from different light angles, give a rainbow effect.
Since the foundation tube has pump attached to it, you can exactly determine the amount of foundation you need for your use each time. This avoids any wastage of the product & is always appreciated! ;-)
Texture & Coverage :
The foundation is quite runny in consistency which drips off fast when you put it at the back of your hand. Therefore apply it immidiately so that it does not drip off.
The coverage of the foundation is medium to full coverage. It will to a large extent cover the imperfections, marks or any other flaws of the skin. Since the consistency of the foundation is very runny, it blends very fast into the skin.
Depending on what kind of foundation tool your are using, the blending time varies. I usually use a damp beauty blender & therefore my work gets done fast. It sets with a matte finish which is great for oily skin girls. However touch ups will be needed for keeping it that way through out the day.
On it's own, the foundation does not slip off or turn the skin oily. the finish of the foundation is as the name mentions "flawless". I do agree on this
Staying Power :
This foundation pretty much lasts through the day for me. This is ofcourse on the fact that I always have a primer underneath of my makeup. I wore this for approximately 6 hours & I did not see the foundation wear off or slide off. However as I mentioned, yes I did touch up my face with a compact powder once in the day.
Overall Thoughts on this Foundation :
For the price point, I think this foundation is very good. Light wearing, good coverage foundation. The shades available are also good so you can get a shade that matches your complexion.
