Hi Lovelies! Elle 18 is a brand that we are all familiar with. They have come up with some interesting and at the same insanely budget friendly makeup for girls who cannot afford to shell out thousands of rupees on makeup. I have tried their liquid liner and color burst lipsticks in the past and loved them. Therefore I went for more!
I am loving matte lipsticks these days and when I got a chance to pick up the Elle 18 Color Pop Matte Lipsticks recently, how could I not grab them? So in this post I am swatching the 6 Elle 18 Color Pop Matte lipsticks that I picked up.

Packaging :
The Elle 18 Color pop matte lipsticks come in a black & pink plastic packaging. The packaging is very cute & no wonder these lipsticks are favorites amongst younger girls. The plastic packaging is not of a good quality however the caps shut securely with a nice click sound. The lippies will not open up in your bags. For the price point I mean we cannot expect a Tom Ford packaging! I have no complaints on the packaging.
The lipstick bullet has a broad slant but easy to apply nevertheless.
Texture & Pigment :
The lipsticks are obviously matte but not 100% matte. I would like to call them more like Creamy Mattes. They are super easy to glide on the lips and do not feel uncomfortable.
The pigmentation of these lipsticks is the best part about them. All of the 6 shades that I own are insanely pigmented. The color covers my lips (I don't have too pigmented lips) in just one swipe. But I like to apply 2 coats for a proper application.

There are 20 shades to choose from in this range & I have picked up 6 of them!

Staying Power :
Because these are creamy matte lipsticks, the staying capacity is not very impressive. Lighter shades stick around for 3-4 hours but the darker more intense ones stay for 5-6 hours. For a lipstick that is for 100 bucks, I'll say not bad!

- Mauve Date : This is a gorgeous mauvy pink color perfect for everyday wear. This is one of my favorite shades to wear on day to day basis.
- Grape Riot : As the name suggests, Grape riot is a beautiful purply pink color. Also an everyday wear color.
- Pink Kiss : Pink Kiss is a pink color that instantly can brighten your face.
- First Love : This is a bright bubble gum pink color with magenta tones to it. This shade might not work for duskier to dark skin tones but you should definitely try it on in the store.
- Rockstar Red : This is a blue based red which is just such a staple shade for everyone. If you are not sure whether red is your color or not, I'd say go with this one.
- Chocolate Day : This is my favorite amongst the ones I own only because this is such a beautiful burgundy brown color. Quite intense. Love it!

Staying Power :
Because these are creamy matte lipsticks, the staying capacity is not very impressive. Lighter shades stick around for 3-4 hours but the darker more intense ones stay for 5-6 hours. For a lipstick that is for 100 bucks, I'll say not bad!

- Staying power is about 3-4 hours for lighter shades & approx. 5 hrs for darker ones
