Packaging :

This palette comes in an outer carton package which has just some basic information about the palette. This palette also comes with it's very own brush which is amazing because as soon as you get this palette, you can start using it straight away with the brush.

Basic information on how to Contour & Highlight mentioned on the box. | Makeupforeternity

The palette itself is very glossy, sleek & light weight. It is very reflective & even when closed can be used as a mirror!! Do not worry, it does have a mirror in it too! ;-)

It comes with a brush which is also light weight & feels classy.

The brush is very soft & contouring can be done very precisely with the brush. This is not the best brush for highlighting though.

The brush tip is dense & flat so that contouring can be easily. It helps to define the hollows of your cheek bones well. I really really really like this brush! Good Job Freedom Makeup! :)

Price & Quantity :

INR. 1750/- for 15Gms. (Though the price is not printed anywhere either on the box or the palette)

Ingredients :

The Shades :

This strobe, contour & highlight palette has 6 shades in total. The top row has 2 setting powders & 1 highlight powder, while the second row has shades for contouring.

The Top Row : (Has 2 Matte & 1 frost shade)
  • The first powder is a setting powder which matches my skin tone (I am NC 35- NC 40 in MAC for reference). This powder can be used for setting the entire face.
  • The second powder is a brightening powder which reminds me of Ben Nye Banana powder. If you want to brighten your under eye area after concealing it, use this powder. I always use this for brightening my under eye area.
  • The 3rd powder is a highlighting powder. This is cool toned highlighter which has stark whiteness to it. This surprised me a lot, because I was expecting a more warm toned highlighter here. This highlighting powder will not suit darker skin toned girls at all! Though this can be used for eye brow highlight or inner tear duct highlight.

The Bottom Row : (Has all Matte - Satin finish shades)
  • Light Contour Shade : The 1st shade is supposed to be a contouring powder, but for my skin tone, it comes out as very light contour. This shade will suit almost pale girls. If your prefer an extremely soft contoured cheeks, this shade should work just fine.
  • Dark Contour Shade : The 2nd shade is the one which I use a lot for contouring because  it contours my face perfectly. It a dark brown color contour powder which is just how a contour powder should be. Since the powder has a buttery texture to it, it blends away without hassles. This shade will suit most Indian skin tones for contouring.
  • Medium Contour Shade : The 3rd shade is very similar to the 1st one, albeit a little bit darker. This is a medium contour shade which should suit fair to medium girls. This also I use for those soft contouring days.

Consistency & Pigmentation :

The powders of this palette are very smooth & easy to blend on the skin. Even if used with fingers, they blend well. They feel like butter on the skin literally!!

Staying Power :

The powders stay on the face for 5-7 hours without primer & maybe another hour or so if used over a primer.

Pros of the Freedom Pro Strobe, Contour & Highlight Palette with Brush :
  • Powders are very fine & yet pigmented that blend easily
  • Comes with a brush which is a major plus point for me
  • Has 6 shades including a brightening powder
  • Decent staying capacity
  • Sleek & light weight makes it travel friendly

Cons of the Freedom Pro Strobe, Contour & Highlight Palette with Brush :
  • Available only in 1 shade which is major drawback. I hope they introduce more shades for darker skin girls also soon.
  • Contour powders are light in color except 1
  • The highlighter is cool toned with white cast which certainly won't work for warmer skin girls & darker skin girls.
  • Price is not printed anywhere on the box of the palette

Overall Thoughts on Freedom Pro Strobe, Contour & Highlight Palette with Brush :

For me personally, this palette is a boon as far as contouring & brightening is concerned. I am certainly not a fan of the highlight shade, but for the of the rest shades, I absolutely loved the palette.

Have you tried the Freedom Pro Strobe, Contour & Highlight palette? If Yes, let me know!
